A memory quote from Diane Parker, Class of '77: "The class of 1977 had 2 very big memory makers: 1. A Slug Bug car in our senior yr was put ON TOP of the school. Made the newspaper even. Graduation was threatened to be canceled. A link to a copy of newspaper clipping will be available soon. 2. Ron Kustek made the BEST (and most honest) class speech ever given at graduation. I still have my copy! It sent shock waves through the school halls and totally ticked off the school board. Speeches after that had to be approved." the car on the roof of CLHS.  Above picture was taken from the 1970 CLHS Yearbook.  This patch was on Rick White's band uniform circa 1955. (These OLD uniforms were inherited to the band the 1st year CLHS was opened).  'If Michigan had High School football playoffs in 1972 this team would have been in. 7-2' said Dowe Parsons, class of 1973.   The corner of Arsenal & Busch. A CL landmark!
